An afternoon with the children at the foster home

The initiative of great social value, held on December 6 at the “Benito Stirpe” Stadium in Frosinone, turned into a moment of celebration and sharing for the children of the “I Naviganti di Cassino” foster home.

Thanks to the collaboration between Frosinone Calcio and Acea Ato 5, the young guests enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon filled with games, surprises, and fun moments.

The event is part of a broader series of solidarity activities that Acea Ato 5 promotes with dedication. Among these is the solidarity lunch held on November 17 during the World Day of the Poor, in collaboration with the Community of Sant’Egidio. This gesture reflects the ongoing commitment to supporting and empowering local communities.

Acea Ato 5 celebrates the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Acea Ato 5 hosted a special event featuring the 1° talk on the protection of human rights and the importance of self-care. The event emphasized the promotion of an inclusive and respectful culture, highlighting the invaluable contribution of women to our societyand raising awareness about the importance of inclusion and mutual respect.

Prominent figures from the region participated in the talk, including the Risorse Donna association – a women’s shelter that, through its daily commitment, serves as a beacon in the fight against gender-based violence. Additionally, local female artists contributed with creative ideas and inspiring perspective, using art as a powerful tool to foster a culture of respect and equality. Their experiences, strength, and voices created a moment of profound reflection and inspiration for all participants.

The event also provided the opportunity to inaugurate the bench, a symbolic representation of this day, engraved with the core message of the event: “Take care of yourself”. Self-care is a gesture of love towards oneself and an affirmation of self-worth. Saying “NO” to violence means saying “YES” to wellness, dignity, and rights. Every day is a new opportunity to promote equality and respect.
