To request a check of your meter serial number, choose one of our contact channels:
Submit your request via video call with one of our operators by booking an appointment at the digital counter, or by booking an appointment at the sales counters.
In the event that the check ascertains the incorrect assignment of the serial number, the costs of the check are borne by Acea Ato 2, which arranges the appropriate accounting changes and the reimbursement of any sums paid and not due.
In case of ascertained correct assignment of the serial number, the verification costs are borne by the end user and the charge is Euro 47.70 + VAT, as provided in the table of article E.10.1 of the User Regulations. When the intervention starts, the bills will be blocked and suspended for collection and, if necessary, recalculated following the outcome of the verification.
MISE (Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy) cross-examination
Pursuant to Ministerial Decree no. 93/2017, the request for check of the utility meter by an accredited laboratory may be requested from the Rome Chamber of Commerce. In this case, Acea Ato 2 will provide technical assistance for the removal of the meter to be subjected to metrological check and, at the same time, will install a new meter.
When the intervention is opened, invoices will be blocked and suspended for collection and, if necessary recalculated following the outcome of the audit.
