Our CEO and General Director, Fabrizio Palermo, met with Jessika Roswall, European Commissioner for Environment and Water Resilience, during her official visit to Rome. The meeting offered the opportunity to discuss strategies for protecting water resources and tackling the challenges related to their availability, which is increasingly impacted by climate change.
Palermo presented a position paper outlining proposals to strengthen the water sector, focusing on four key levers: unique direction, updated regulations, straightforward solutions, and adequate resources.
On the sidelines of the event, the delegation, accompanied by Acea Group technicians, visited the Trevi Fountain’s control room, an example of the heritage we protect and a symbol of Rome’s history and culture.
