Enrico Pezzoli has been Chief Executive Officer of Acea Acqua since April 2025, following his previous role as General Manager. Before that, he was Head of Acea Water Business Development. Since November 2024, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of a.Quantum.
From July 2018 to April 2024, he was Chairman and CEO of Como Acqua S.r.l., the company responsible for managing and delivering integrated water services in the Province of Como. During the same period, he held prominent roles in several industry associations. From April 2021 to June 2024, he served as Chairman of Water Alliance – Acque di Lombardia, a network uniting integrated water service providers across Lombardy. From November 2021 to June 2024, he was a Board Member of Aqua Publica Europea (APE), the European association of major public water operators. He also served from April 2020 to June 2024 as a member of the Executive Committee of Confservizi Cispel Lombardia, the regional association representing utilities and companies operating in public service sectors at the local level.
Between 2014 and 2018, he was Director of Chimera Utility S.r.l., a multidisciplinary company active in the fields of energy, communication, accredited training, and IT/mobile development.
Between 2013 and 2018, he was General Manager of SE.T.CO. S.r.l., a publicly-owned company focused on managing local public services in the Province of Bergamo, particularly in the areas of energy, infrastructure, networks, and environmental hygiene.
From 2014 to 2016, he was concurrently CEO of Anita S.r.l., a company involved in managing shareholdings in public service providers, overseeing plant operations, and owning gas distribution networks.
Between 2010 and 2013, he contributed to the work of the Italian Thermotechnical Committee (CTI), where he supported the drafting of national regulations and participated in international regulatory projects.
From 2008 to 2013, he chaired ENERGE S.r.l., a company operating in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy, providing ESCo services for public administrations.
Between 2002 and 2008, he worked at Persico S.p.A., where he worked from 2002 to 2008 as a Project Leader in the design and development of moulds and production lines for rotational moulding, as well as in research and development and project implementation.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Bergamo.
