Alessandro Maria Camporeale

Alessandro Maria Camporeale has been Chief Procurement Officer of Acea since December 2024.

Alessandro Camporeale has made his career as a Procurement Executive for major manufacturing corporations, gaining superior Sustainable sourcing expertise over the last years.

From January 2023 to September 2024, he was Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and VP Procurement Global at Datalogic, a leading goods tracking and IoT solutions company headquartered in Bologna.

In 2022, he was CPO and VP Procurement Europe at Denso Thermal Europe, a HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) and Mobility solutions company fully owned by Toyota Corporation.

From 2019 to 2021, he worked at Bridgestone (tyres and mobility solutions) as Procurement Director Raw Materials for the EMIA region (Europe, Russia, South Africa, India, Turkey).

He spent most of his career at the Whirlpool group, a leading domestic appliances company, where he held various procurement positions from 1996 to 2018. Most recently (2016-2018) he was Global Director Procurement Cooling & Gas System & EMEA Engineered components. Prior to that (2015-2016) he was Procurement Director EMEA Engineered components & Indesit Procurement Integration Lead. From 2011 to 2015 he was Global Procurement Director Resins & Chemicals as well as Director EMEA Engineered components. From 2001 to 2011 he was Senior Manager Procurement, first in Cooling System, then in Cooking. He had joined the Whirlpool Group as a Global Cost Analyst.

Alessandro Camporeale holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
